Jesus I Need A Miracle!

Have you ever had a time in your life when you just needed to see or hear a miracle to be inspired? Have you just thought; if I could just really see a glimpse of something wonderful I might be able to make it?

How about having to wait for that miracle? ...needing one so desperately and having to wait for a good period of time?

I know these two scenarios have played out over time for me as well as for you.

I find that the closer I grow to the Lord; the more my eyes are opened. I praise God for that and it is a blessing that He affords us. What I mean when I say that is that if we put God first in all that we do and we have that open relationship with Him; spend time in prayer; ask forgiveness for sin in our lives and run to God continually; we see things differently.

You see, the miracles are happening all around us ALL THE TIME and we are too lost in the busyness of our lives to really see them. God is not withholding blessing and miracles; we are just not looking for them!

In the book of Job in chapter 9 the Bible says, "He performs wonders that cannot be fathomed, miracles that cannot be counted."

These 'wonders and miracles' are found in the eyes of our children or in the kindness of a stranger; they are found in the love of a believer who shares God with someone.

The man who wrote the verse above was a man that had extreme tragedy in his life and there was nothing good going on around him and yet He believed God. He kept his eyes on the Lord, looking to Him and believing that even though he didn't understand; wonders and miracles were happening all around him. His faith in the Lord was so deep that he made a choice to believe that even though his life was a wreck there was something good happening all around him.

Can we say that? Can we say that in the midst of problems and heartache we are looking past them to see the wonders and miracles going on around us?

Maybe your miracle is right in front of you today and it is my prayer that your relationship with the Lord is so sweet and pure that you CAN see the miracles and power that God pours out continually on His people!

Matthew 5:8 says "Blessed are the pure in heart; for they will see God."

It is my prayer that today is a beginning point for you to believe God and see the wonders and miracles all around you. To deepen that relationship with the Lord and be on the lookout for those miracles and wonders that are just waiting for you to see!
